【Introduction】Türkiye is the world's largest producer and exporter of dried figs, accounting for 75% of the world's dried figs. Fig cultivation and production are mainly concentrated in the Aydin region of Turkey. Influenced by the Mediterranean climate, the region has sufficient sunshine and warmth, which is particularly suitable for the growth of figs. The fruit has a thin skin and a high honey content, and is of much higher quality than varieties in other regions.
